Checking eye health is the most important factor in an eye test and is best maintained by regular check-ups with your Optometrist. Any minor changes can be monitored, ensuring early detection of any age-related conditions or eye diseases and referred for treatment if needed. For this reason, we allow 20-40 minutes per appointment, depending on age.

In addition to checking the health of your eyes, the Optometrist will assess your visual needs and provide you with an up-to-date prescription if spectacles are required. We aim to accommodate all budgets and offer a diverse range of choices. If you need a budget-friendly pair of spectacles, we offer a selection of ‘free’ frames when purchasing spectacle lenses. Alternatively, if fashion, great design, and cutting-edge technology are important to you, we offer a wide range of designer brands, advanced lenses, and coatings for you to choose from. With the help of our Dispensing Optician and Optical advisors, we will assist you in selecting the best spectacles or contact lenses for your budget and lifestyle.

OCT Scanner.
We now have an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scanner, which enables the production of a 3D image of the deeper retinal layers, allowing for even earlier detection and diagnosis of changes to the structure and function. This scan is an optional extra for a small fee.
